When guys from the Leyland Round Table compete in an Area Round Table Pool Competition and they were one of the few that took their own que's, then you expect that their efforts would have a certain bite!

The many competitors this year were of an extremely high standard, many of whom had been practicing in preparation for this event for many days ahead of the game. The endless buffett and many beers before hand had made the competition a close call and had unfortunately dampened their best of efforts.

The giant fishing lure that Nick Ormerod and Kevin Porter had cast must have somehow snagged on the low ceilings on the other side of the table and despite the best efforts to land the competition they achieved only one result. Without disgrace Leyland did not finish a lownesome last - but a joint last position.

Leyland Round Table competes in various sporting challenges at Local, Area and National levels and like Nick they aren't always the most able of competitiors - our apologies to Kevin who played a sterling game and even managed to pot the black twice, (once to take a win!).  If you want to compete with us, come along to what may be the best laugh you've had in ages and contact us today!
