I Predict A Riot!
We're joining our National Round Table President Dave as he leads the enraged citizens of Chesterton in a protest which brings his loyal followers out onto the streets in defiance of the local constabulary!

I Predict a Riot!
Round Table is getting involved with Yorkshire Police in a pre-planned training exercise. An opportunity for Tablers to become disorderly delinquents, throwing missiles, petrol bombs and having running battles with the mounted police.
The day-long exercise is part of West Yorkshire Police’s Crowd Control training programme. Police Officers are to be put through their paces as they experience what they might one day have to deal with. The officers, in full riot gear learn how to subdue troublesome crowds and cope with being attacked by building barracks and using mounted police.
This is just one of the visits that Leyland Round Table has made to see the uniformed forces in action.
The day will be spent throwing missiles, petrol bombing, erecting barricades, being surrounded by police officers in ‘safe houses’ and being chased by police officers and police horses. A former Tabler come mob member said, “You can truly appreciate the hard work and discipline that these guys and girls require to become a riot control officer, the day was fantastic, its not everyday you get to throw missiles at the police and get away with it. I'd come again next week!”
I threw missiles all day 'cause it was in aid of a good cause your honour!
This is a beneficial exercise for the police and sheer exhiliating enjoyment for the Tablers and all towards helping a good cause too, as all proceeds from this event will go towards the Anthony Nolan Appeal.
